Life Events
BaptismAdults and children may receive the sacrament of baptism as part of our Sunday morning worship. Because special feast days emphasize the themes of baptism specific Sundays have been recognized by The Episcopal Church as most appropriate to celebrate baptism. Those Sundays include the following Feast Days: The Baptism of Jesus, The Easter Vigil, Pentecost, All Saints Day and our Bishop’s Visitation Sunday. Other Sundays may be arranged at the discretion of the rector. To make arrangements for a baptism please contact the rector by phone (248.334.4571) or by email ([email protected]).

MarriageParishioners who are prepared to make life-long vows of marriage should contact the rector to make arrangements for counseling and to set a date for the celebration. I think the Marriage Policy and The memorial Garden Policy both may under Pastoral Care/ Life Events. View our marriage policy here.
Funerals/Memorial Services
Parishioners are encouraged to notify the clergy of illness and/ or closeness to death so a pastoral presence may be with the person near death and the family. Then the clergy may pray with them and read the At the Time of Death office with them. Arrangements for a funeral or memorial service should be made by contacting the clergy or the parish office. View our memorial garden policy here.
