Meals for a Healthy Pontiac
A Ministry of All Saints'
In September, 2014, All Saints' began hosting a free community breakfast program on Saturday mornings from 8:00am to 10:30am for our neighbors who are in need of a nutritious meal. We targeted the working poor and homeless, including guests from group homes and warming centers. A typical breakfast consists of a variety of cereals, hot oatmeal, turkey sausage, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, granola bars, fresh fruit and a selection of breads, which are donated by local bakeries. There is always plenty of coffee and juices. The program has grown and serves between 110-140 guests each week. The breakfasts are staffed by teams of volunteers, with the youth group serving on the fifth Saturdays.
The breakfast is located in the upstairs auditorium of the main church. Take the elevator entrance off the parking lot. It is well marked with signs.
